Event Details

The first annual Fair Trade Fair at UNH is a celebration of fair trade, as October is fair trade month. Come sample Fair Trade Certified chocolate, coffee, tea, and more while listening to speakers and watching films about fair trade as a solution to poverty. And don't forget to come and see the sustainable fashion show! This event is put on by a partnership of the Fair Trade Resource Network of the Seacoast, UNH Office of Sustainability, UNH Department of Women's Studies, UNH Discovery Program, and the American Friends Service Committee.

Following is the event schedule:
1 pm: Guest speakers Arnie Alpert & Maggie Fogarty of the American Friends Service Committee
2:30 pm: Screening of Buyer Be Fair and discussion
3:30 pm: Free tastings of Fair Trade Certified coffee, chocolate, tea and more
4 pm: Screening of Stolen Childhoods and discussion
